| Description | ilu presents the diploma thesis of Kristýna Malovaná from the product design studio (doc.Mgr.A. Michal Froňek and doc.Mgr.A. Jan Němeček) at VŠUP. This is a collection of interior lamps made of glass. The inspiration was the light and its effects, the shapes of its shadows, but also the shape of Mount Fuji, which was indelibly imprinted on Kristýna's memory. All this in connection with the noble material of glass. The collection combines the utility of a purposeful object with the optical, haptic and aesthetic possibilities of glass. The choice of an asymmetric shape, which is the main dominant feature of the entire collection, is a step into a less explored area of the glass production process. All types are hand blown, then ground and sandblasted. |
