| Description | It was an honour to take part in the competition for the new logo of the T. G. Masaryk Primary School in Bystřice pod Hostýnem, in which I won the first prize. Before creating the logo, I did a little research on what primary school logos look like, because I have been out of primary school for a while now and at that time people did not even talk about school logos and design was a dirty word. The result was that most schools settled for a name and sometimes more, sometimes less well chosen fonts when choosing a logo. How did I go about designing the logo? I took a slightly different approach and used the iconicity of our first president, which was translated into a pictogram. Then there was nothing left to do but choose the right font for the logo, one that was elegant and legible enough. |
