| Description | A study of the complex exterior design of a forest wheeled tractor for the manufacturer LKT. It is a traditional Slovak company with a long production tradition . The study includes, in addition to the newly conceived compact design, a very detailed ergonomic solution of all service approaches. Further, for example, improvement of the operator's forward and backward views. All this from a newly designed cab frame formed by its own cab profiles. In the study, however, there were many more innovations. One of them is, for example, compacting and covering the oil and fuel tank behind the cab, where the main access to filters, batteries, is located. For ergonomic testing, for example, a prototype of a 1:1 cardboard engine cover was created. This one was then put into production on the chassis of the machine and both service approaches and the appearance of the machine were tested on it on a real scale. Other areas covered by the study were redesign solutions and innovations in the area of peripherals. This was specifically the front blade and rear tractor shield. On the blade, we managed to invent an ergonomically placed service platform to facilitate access to cleaning and cooler servicing. However, from the concept visible in the initial visualizations, only a part of the front engine cover and also a partial front mask solution have been transferred into production so far. This has been applied in a slightly modified form to machines LKT 60, LKT 130 ITL and LKT 150. |
