| Description | My diploma thesis. This set consists of a floor lamp with a small table, standing mirror with a tiny table and coat hooks, dressing table with a round mirror, flower table and also a coffee table. The main idea of my design concept is following up on furniture of the functionalist period between first and second world war. This set should not be a retro or a return to the historical style. It is a contemporary set of design accessories, which only follows the typology and the purity of the functionalist furniture. The types of accessories I designed was popular in the mentioned period, but they are very rare in the contemporary furniture production. My work should bring them back to life and fill this blank space in todays production. |
