Description	During the warm and dry summer we were invited to a competition to design an innovative whirlpool shelter. The competition was announced by Alukov a.s. with evaluation criteria in the areas of innovation, compactness while transporting and ease of assembly by the end customers. The NORDIC shelter roof is assembled of aluminum profiles where the longest part does not reach 3 meters. The roof is suspended on a steel rope. The roof axis is slightly raised so that rainwater flows away. The walls made of transparent panels are attached to the grooves of the profiles so they can be pushed individually to create an entry space. The interior can be equipped with accessories such as a suspended fireplace.
